Job description

In this role, you will support the planning, execution, and delivery of technical and regulatory-driven initiatives across engineering teams. You will manage end-to-end delivery, ensure alignment across teams, track dependencies, and proactively remove blockers. Working in an Agile/Scrum environment, you will help run team ceremonies, maintain roadmaps, monitor progress, and drive continuous improvement.

You will collaborate closely with engineering managers and subject matter experts to define scope, manage resources, and sequence work for optimal execution. Clear communication is essential, as you will handle updates, run effective meetings, and present timelines, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Drive the planning and delivery of engineering projects and technology initiatives.
  • Work closely with Scrum/Agile teams to manage priorities, timelines and dependencies.
  • Coordinate work across multiple teams and ensure projects stay on track.
  • Identify and remove blockers, risks and dependencies that could impact delivery.
  • Work with Engineering Managers to agree resources, priorities and delivery milestones.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, meetings and retrospectives.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve processes, team efficiency and delivery.
  • Provide clear updates on progress, risks, actions, timelines and dependencies.
  • Build strong relationships with engineers, managers and wider stakeholders.
About You
  • Strong Technical Project management exposure.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident communicator who can lead discussions, provide clarity, and drive outcomes.
  • Basic technical understanding is helpful but not required; ability to work with engineering teams is important.
  • Interest in payments, compliance, and regulatory work.
  • Experience with Agile delivery (sprints, releases, dependency management, backlog work).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Domo) is a plus.
  • Understanding of risk management principles.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A 2.1 or higher degree (subjects such as STEM with a Finance minor, Law with Tech & Finance minor, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or Accounting are ideal).
  • Strong technical and business analysis skills, with the ability to translate high-level requirements into detailed functional specifications.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hunger to learn, grow, and upskill in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working with interface specifications, APIs, and performing related data mappings.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Agile teams and communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Independent thinking, accountability, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality solutions on time.
  • Payments experience is a plus but not required.
  • This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, delivery and people, and who wants to have a real impact on how engineering teams deliver.
