Job summary

Pro Rail Services Limited is a rail civil engineering and plant family run business recruiting Junior Surveyors for work in The Republic Of Ireland. This vacancy is an immediate start.

The role involves assisting senior surveyors, gaining surveying experience, and maintaining data and trackers. Opportunity for progression within the wider business group.

Qualifications

• Diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate qualification (or equivalent career experience).
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Familiar with MS Office.
• Knowledge of surveying programs (LSS, AutoCAD) preferred.
• Knowledge of Leica and/or Trimble instruments (GNSS/GPS & Total Station) preferred.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead/senior/intermediate surveyors with providing survey measurements and reports to required quality within planned timescales.
• Gain experience to survey to required standards and learn the standards used.
• Save all data to the correct folder or provide to Lead Surveyor as required.
• Report issues to the lead surveyor; keep master trackers updated.
• Keep mileage log book up to date for company vehicles (if applicable).

Duties and responsibilities

As Junior Surveyor your duties and responsibilities will be:

Responsibilities

• Be Mentally Prepared for Work
• Assist the Lead/Senior/Intermediate Surveyors with providing completed survey measurements and/or reports to the required quality and within the planned time‐scales
• Gain experience to Survey to the required standard and gain knowledge the standards you are working to if required and competent
• Save all data to the correct folder or provide to Lead surveyor as required
• Report all issues to the lead surveyor
• Ensure master trackers are updated for your works either by yourself of by the Lead Surveyor
• Keep mileage log book up to date for company vehicles (if you have one).

Qualification required

A diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate qualification with little or no experience, or equivalent Career experience. Experience/Skills:
