Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and contractual administration support to the Senior QS and/or Commercial Manager.
• Undertake internal valuations and produce cost reports.
• Support the management of applicable subcontract packages and oversee payments to subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Assist with reporting on project budgets and variations.
• Distribute and track invoices for approval.
• Respond to and resolve enquiries from Suppliers, Procurement, and Finance departments.

Due to continued growth my client wishes to recruit a Junior Quantity Surveyor in Cork

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide commercial and contractual administration support to the Senior QS and/or Commercial Manager
• Undertaking internal valuations and production of cost reports
• Supporting the management of applicable subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
• Assisting with reporting on project budgets and variations
• Distribute and track invoices to various project owners / leads for approval
• Respond to and resolve enquiries from Suppliers, Procurement, and Finance departments (including monthly accruals) in a professional and timely manner

Specific Requirements

• Tertiary Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Trade Qualification or similar
• 1- 3 years postgraduate experience in the construction sector.
• Ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to present findings.
• Good communication skills and high computer literacy.
