No prior materials testing experience is required, as full on-the-job training will be provided and candidates will shadow experienced colleagues to learn testing methods and product specifics. The role involves testing a range of materials such as aggregates, ready-mix concrete, concrete blocks, paving blocks and bituminous products.

Qualifications

• No prior materials testing experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Willingness to perform physical work and sampling.
• Good written and record-keeping abilities; confident with IT.

Responsibilities

• Carry out physical testing of construction materials daily.
• Assess size conformity and strength of samples.
• Maintain accurate records and report results.
