Job summary

Tetra Tech Ireland is seeking Assistant Project Managers to join our Project Management Office (PMO). This permanent role supports Project Managers across multidisciplinary engineering projects in Dublin, Cork, or Galway, with exposure to cost control, scheduling and reporting.

You will work with experienced teams, develop skills in planning, data analysis and project controls, and progress toward a career path to become a Project Manager through hands-on learning and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or higher diploma in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering or related discipline.
• Previous experience in an engineering, construction, infrastructure or design consultancy environment.
• Internship, graduate or early-career experience in project management, project controls or engineering.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project or similar scheduling tool.

Responsibilities

• Support cost management, forecasting and budgeting for projects.
• Assist with development and maintenance of project schedules.
• Coordinate resource loading and progress reporting across multidisciplinary teams.
• Apply project controls techniques and data analytics to identify trends and risks.
• Maintain accurate resourcing information across project portfolios.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical specialists, suppliers and contractors.
