Junior Project Manager supporting the successful delivery of environmental and compliance projects from initial client engagement through to implementation and project close-out. Working closely with senior colleagues, the role focuses on coordinating project activities, supporting client and stakeholder communication, monitoring project timelines and milestones, and ensuring deliverables meet agreed quality, regulatory, environmental and client standards.
Responsibilities include assisting with project scope definition, planning and scheduling; monitoring progress and deadlines; coordinating internal resources and tasks; supporting client relationships and stakeholder engagement; identifying potential project risks and assisting with mitigation and issue resolution; and preparing project updates, progress reports and project documentation. The role also involves supporting formal project close-out procedures and ensuring all final deliverables and documentation are completed accurately.
The successful candidate will have strong organisational, time-management, communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and solution-focused approach. A Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline is required, together with approximately 1-2 years' experience in project coordination, environmental services, compliance or a related area, although relevant placements may be considered. Experience within the pharmaceutical sector is highly desirable, while knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards and project management or CRM systems would be advantageous.
The role requires the successful candidate to be based in the Ulster region of Ireland, hold a full clean Irish driving licence and be willing to travel throughout Ireland for site visits, field work and client meetings.
