Job Title: Junior Production Planner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Production Planner to support our production team in organizing manufacturing schedules, coordinating material requirements, and ensuring timely delivery of products. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with a background in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing who are eager to grow their planning and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to ensure material availability.
  • Support production workflow by identifying bottlenecks or delays and escalating issues.
  • Communicate with internal teams (purchasing, logistics, warehouse, and production) to align on schedule requirements.
  • Update and maintain accurate data in ERP or MRP systems.
  • Track progress of production orders and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist in reporting production performance and schedule adherence.
  • Participate in meetings related to production planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field .
  • 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production support role is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of production planning or supply chain processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other basic office applications.
  • Experience with ERP or MRP systems ( but not required).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
