Qualifications

  • Degree (Level 8 or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering essential.
  • 2+ years of experience in building services design preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Irish building regulations required.

Salary: €40K-€60K DOE

Role:

We are seeking Junior Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineers to join a leading Building Services Engineering consultancy in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career engineers to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, with structured training and mentoring from senior staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and delivery of Mechanical and Electrical building services projects.
  • Support senior engineers with technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Use industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Dialux.
  • Attend site visits, inspections, and project meetings under supervision.
  • Engage with accredited training schemes to work toward Chartered Engineer status.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Level 8 or equivalent).
  • 2+ years’ experience in building services design (placement/internship experience considered).
  • Basic knowledge of Irish building regulations.
  • Eagerness to learn, develop, and progress toward Chartership.
