Join us as a Junior Legal Counsel

The Junior Legal Counsel provides practical, commercially focused legal support to the business, with a particular focus on Three's property and network estate portfolio.

Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, this role provides commercially focused legal advice to business stakeholders on property, infrastructure and commercial matters. The role manages a broad portfolio of legal matters, identifying and mitigating legal risk while negotiating a wide range of property and commercial agreements. Working with a high degree of autonomy, the role supports the Senior Legal Counsel on more complex or high-risk matters while building trusted relationships across the business. The role also supports the effective management of legal risk arising from site acquisition, estate management, network deployment and property-related projects, while providing legal expertise across broader commercial and regulatory matters.

What else it involves:

As Junior Legal Counsel, you will:

  • Provide clear, concise and commercially focused legal advice to business stakeholders, independently managing legal matters within your area of responsibility while escalating the most complex or high-risk issues where appropriate.
  • Lead or support the negotiation, drafting and review of property-related agreements, including leases, licences, wayleaves, landlord consents, access agreements and related property documentation.
  • Manage legal matters relating to Three's telecommunications site portfolio, including lease renewals, notices, site access matters, rent reviews and landlord queries.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to support network rollout, upgrade and optimisation projects by identifying legal risks and delivering practical, commercially balanced solutions.
  • Manage routine property disputes, litigation and claims, working with external legal advisors and supporting the Senior Legal Counsel on more complex or strategically significant matters where required.
  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including supplier, services and procurement contracts.
  • Manage and report legal matters in line with Three Ireland and CK Hutchison governance requirements, ensuring appropriate legal oversight and effective risk management.
  • Support legal and regulatory compliance initiatives, providing practical guidance to stakeholders and contributing to legal awareness across the business.
  • Manage relationships with external legal advisors to ensure advice is delivered efficiently, commercially and cost-effectively.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal processes, templates and knowledge resources, maintaining accurate legal records and supporting the effective administration of legal workflows and reporting.
