Job summary

SimoTech is seeking a Junior Automation Engineer (IT/OT) to support a major greenfield expansion at a pharmaceutical OSD site in Ireland. You will work on enterprise IT and OT environments across PLC/SCADA and related systems under senior engineers, gaining hands-on experience in automation, cybersecurity and project delivery.

The role offers exposure to validation, change control, and handover activities, with opportunities to grow technical and project-management skills in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Must have strong teamwork, communication and documentation skills.
• Attention to detail and fast learning in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with IT/OT concepts is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in IT/OT deliverables for the plant expansion project.
• Coordinate between engineering, operations, IT security, vendors and integrators.
• Support testing and commissioning activities (FAT/SAT) and handover.
• Capture governance inputs and maintain project documentation.
