Job summary

ABP Ireland is recruiting a Trainee Health & Safety Officer for ABP Clones in Clones, Co. Monaghan. The role supports the H&S Manager in maintaining safety standards across the site and is designed for someone eager to learn, with training provided.

The successful candidate will work on risk assessments, site inspections, records, and training coordination, reporting to the Health & Safety Manager. 1 year in meat processing and strong English skills are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a meat processing factory.
• Understanding of safety practices within meat production industry.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent command of English, written & verbal.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support the H&S department in maintaining high safety standards.
• Assist in risk assessments and produce improvement reports.
• Carry out site inspections to ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintain records of inspections and accidents; report findings.
