Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in health and safety or related field.
• Strong communication skills with on-site teams.
• Demonstrated understanding of safety procedures and documentation.
• 6 months H&S experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training sessions and on-site onboarding of new employees or contractors.
• Assist in delivering toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Schedule training sessions, prepare documentation, and file paperwork.
• Maintain up-to-date safety documentation and records.
• Encourage and uphold a strong safety culture on site.

SSA are recruiting a Junior Health & Safety Officer on behalf of an M&E Contractor, for a multi-site role in Dublin. This is a permanent position.

Our client is a well-known and well-respected contractor in the construction industry. They are working on a variety of projects that are both ongoing and completed.

About the Role

• Based across multiple sites in Dublin
• Salary €40,000 - €45,000 & Package
• Working as part of a Health & Safety Team

Your main duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Your primary responsibilities will includebut are not limited to, assisting in the preparation of training sessions and the on-site preparation of all new employees or contractors.
• Assist in the delivery of toolbox talks.
• Assist with the scheduling of training sessions, the preparation of documentation, and the filing of completed paperwork.
• Documentation and paperwork related to safety are kept up to date.
• Encourage a solid safety culture on the job.

To be successful in your application you will ideally possess the following:
