Qualifikationen

• Newly qualified ACA/ACCA with exposure to the financial accounting function.
• Experience in manufacturing, project-based or multi-entity environments is advantageous.
• Experience with VAT and RCT compliance and reporting is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Support monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes in line with Group reporting deadlines.
• Prepare journals, including accruals, prepayments, payroll, depreciation and other month-end adjustments.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
• Maintain the general ledger and support fixed asset, inventory and intercompany accounting.
• Support the preparation and submission of VAT, RCT, Intrastat and other statutory returns.
• Assist with year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements.
• Support Group reporting, budgeting and forecasting, including analysis of actual performance against budget.
• Support CAPEX and investment decisions, including financial analysis for new equipment, automation and expansion of manufacturing facilities.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support commercial and operational decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and the quality of financial information.
