Job summary

Jobtailor in Ireland is seeking a numerate graduate to support financial reporting, prepare bank reconciliations, post general ledger entries, and assist with month‑end close. You’ll contribute to accurate regulatory and management information for the finance team.

You will develop expertise towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications, uphold high standards of integrity and diligence, and cooperate with regulators. A strong eye for detail and excellent Excel skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Numerate with a university degree and a desire to qualify professionally.
• Progress towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent qualification.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related financial tools.
• Demonstrates integrity and due care in all duties.

Responsibilities

• Issue financial, regulatory, and management reports accurately and timely.
• Assist with the monthly and quarterly close process.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Prepare reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare general ledger posting transactions.
• Assist with VAT calculations.
• Assist with maintenance and development of systems and internal controls.
• Strive for efficiencies in the finance function and add value to the business.
• Provide accurate information to the finance team and wider company.
• Report to the Finance Manager.
