Job summary

Vertiv Ireland Limited seeks a Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Busbar team, shaping modular power solutions for data centres and industrial facilities. You will contribute to design from bid through completion, preparing workshop docs and BoMs while applying safe, compliant engineering practices.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master's in electrical engineering or building services, with fluent English and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or building services.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Graduate position ideally from a building services background.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Inventor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and integration of busbar solutions from bid to completion.
• Prepare design and workshop docs; order BoMs for installation.
• Ensure compliance with international and internal standards.
• Coordinate with architectural, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing and site teams.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, assembly and commissioning.
