GLENMORE FARMS LIMITED in Ballybofey, Co. Donegal, invites an experienced Joiner to join our Estate team on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will work on a range of construction, renovation and maintenance projects across our estate, including staff accommodation, agricultural buildings and cottages. You will carry out first and second fix joinery, fit doors and frames, skirting, architraves and flooring, read drawings, and ensure high quality finishes.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in high-quality finishing joinery.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
• Full driving licence (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Carry out first and second fix joinery across projects.
• Fit staircases, doors, frames, skirting, architraves, and flooring.
• Construct timber structures, partitions, roofs and flooring systems.
• Renovate and restore estate buildings and cottages.
• Read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Maintain tools and site safety and cleanliness.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Joiner to join our growing Estate team based in Ballybofey, Co. Donegal. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a diverse estate operation, working on a wide variety of construction, renovation and maintenance projects across our estate. From constructing new staff accommodation and agricultural buildings to restoring traditional cottages and completing high‑quality finishing work, you'll play an important role in delivering projects to an exceptional standard.

Job Details

Location: Ballybofey, Co. Donegal | Job Type: Full‑Time | Permanent

Responsibilities

• Carry out first and second fix joinery across a variety of construction and renovation projects.
• Fit staircases, internal and external doors, door frames, skirting boards, architraves, window boards, flooring, and other finishing joinery.
• Construct timber structures, stud partitions, roofs, and flooring systems as required.
• Complete renovation and restoration work on existing estate buildings and cottages.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and finish.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organised condition.
• Work collaboratively with other trades to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Qualifications

• A qualified and experienced Joiner with a proven track record in construction or property development.
• Extensive experience in high‑quality finishing joinery, including fitting stairs, hanging doors, installing skirting boards, architraves, and other finishing work.
• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship.
• Ability to work confidently from technical drawings and plans.
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Holds a full driving licence (desirable).

As part of our recruitment process, shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide photographs and/or short videos of previous joinery projects, particularly examples of finishing work, to demonstrate the quality of their workmanship.
