Have you got what it takes to be our new Jetty Operator in Dublin? We want to hear from you!What would your day at GAC look like?Ensuring vessels are moored correctly and in alignment with shore loading arms and connectionsEnsuring vessels provide safe access via correctly rigged gangways, which must be monitored and maintained throughout discharge operationsConnection and disconnection of ‘off-loading equipment’ (hoses/loading arms/spool pieces etc.)Monitoring and adjusting connections, as requiredEnsuring valves are opened/closed for safe, efficient discharge of client productsTaking ship samples, as requiredPerforming line walks and repetitive checks during discharge operationsCompletion of documentation as requiredWhat are we looking for?A good understanding and appreciation of a proactive safety cultureStrong communication skillsA positive attitude and a willingness to learnMarine or Terminal experience desired but not necessary as all full training will be providedFull clean driving licenceManual handling certificate (desired but not essential)First Aid certificate (desired but not essential)What’s in it for you?This is your chance to become part of the global GAC team which has been providing professional shipping, logistics and marine services since 1956.
