ELM Environmental Services Ltd is seeking a full-time Jet Vac Operator / Drainage Operative to join our growing team. Based in Co. Wexford, work will take place at various sites across Ireland.

The role involves operating Jet Vac and vacuum tanker equipment, performing drainage and environmental tasks, and completing daily site documentation in line with RAMS and safety procedures. A Category C licence and full driving licence are essential, with Safe Pass and willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operating and driving Jet Vac / vacuum tanker trucks.
• High-pressure drain and sewer cleaning.
• Emptying septic tanks and wastewater systems.
• Cleaning pumping stations, interceptors and drainage systems.
• Assisting with CCTV drainage surveys.
• Completing daily vehicle and equipment checks.
• Following RAMS and health & safety procedures.
• Maintaining vehicles and equipment to a high standard.
• Working as part of a crew on sites across Ireland.

ELM Environmental Services Ltd is currently recruiting a full-time Jet Vac Operator / Drainage Operative to join our growing team.

TRUCK LICENCE REQUIRED

Applicants MUST hold a valid Category C Truck Licence.

This is an essential requirement for the position. Applications from candidates without a Category C licence cannot be considered.

The Role

The successful applicant will operate Jet Vac and vacuum tanker equipment while carrying out drainage and environmental works at commercial, industrial, local authority and private sites.

Duties

• Operating and driving Jet Vac / vacuum tanker trucks
• High-pressure drain and sewer cleaning
• Emptying septic tanks and wastewater treatment systems
• Cleaning pumping stations, interceptors and drainage systems
• Assisting with CCTV drainage surveys
• Completing daily vehicle and equipment checks
• Completing job sheets and required site documentation
• Following company RAMS and health & safety procedures
• Maintaining vehicles and equipment to a high standard
• Working as part of a crew on various sites throughout Ireland

Essential Requirements

• Valid Category C Truck Licence – ESSENTIAL
• Full driving licence
• Safe Pass
• Manual Handling
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and willing to work as part of a team
• Comfortable working outdoors and in a hands-on environment
• Willingness to work overtime when required

Previous Jet Vac, vacuum tanker, drainage or environmental experience is an advantage; however, training can be provided to the right candidate who holds the required truck licence.

Confined Space, CSCS, CPC and other relevant qualifications are also an advantage.
