Job summary

Advanced Solutions International is seeking a skilled Software Developer to develop Java-based software applications and products. You will work with Scrum teams, contribute to agile development milestones, and ensure value for our customers.

The role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to standards, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to influence product quality and performance across global deployments.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or information science, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience developing integrated web-based applications, including UI, database access and networked components.
• Solid object-oriented software engineering background with testing experience.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate with others in person or remotely.

Responsibilities

• Participate as an active team member on projects with Product Owners to complete development tasks.
• Collaborate with scrum teammates on design and development tasks.
• Contribute to development, testing, documentation, and maintenance of high-quality software solutions.
• Meet project milestones and complete user stories within sprint definitions of done.
• Follow established standards to deliver high-quality, high-value projects for ASI and its customers.
• Learn, adapt, and apply agile software development techniques and processes.
• Provide and respond to constructive feedback for continuous improvement of processes, product, and self.
• Contribute technical knowledge to enhance product performance, usability, and consistency.
• Conduct code reviews and perform component, visual, functional, and automated testing.
• Work with Technical Support to reproduce and resolve customer issues.
