Qualifications

• Proficient in Java with Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Strong knowledge of GoF design patterns and SOLID.
• Experience designing microservices, RESTful APIs, scalable architecture.
• Solid experience with CI/CD workflows (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL and ORM frameworks.
• Hands-on unit testing and test-driven development.
• Git expertise and collaboration in SDLC.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Architecture
• Lead the design and implementation of complex backend systems using Java.
• Define software architecture, establish coding standards, and enforce best practices.
• Drive adoption of design patterns, microservices architecture, and modular code design.
• Code Quality & Review
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews to ensure readability, maintainability, performance, and scalability.
• Identify and mitigate technical debt and potential bugs in ongoing projects.
• Enforce unit testing, integration testing, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers on Java best practices, patterns, and architecture decisions.
• Provide technical guidance and oversee team progress to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Design & Development
• Implement innovative solutions to complex problems while balancing performance and maintainability.
• Engage in full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirement analysis to deployment and post-production support.
• Optimize code for high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
• Work closely with product managers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
• Translate business requirements into sustainable and efficient technical solutions.
• Participate in sprint planning, project estimation, and resource allocation.

• Languages & Frameworks: Advanced proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related frameworks.
• Design Patterns: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with GoF patterns, SOLID principles, and software design best practices.
• Architecture: Experience designing microservices, RESTful APIs, and scalable server-side architectures.
• Code Quality: Proficiency in code review tools, static code analysis, and CI/CD workflows (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Database & Caching: Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, caching strategies, and ORM frameworks.
• Testing: Hands-on experience with unit testing and test-driven development.
• Version Control & Workflow: Git expertise and understanding of branching strategies, pull requests, and collaborative development processes.
