Job summary

The Recruitment Company Australia is seeking a mid-level Java Developer for a 6-month contract in Central Dublin with hybrid working. Work on a large government programme, building features in a cloud & microservices setting using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and AWS. Backend-focused role with potential Angular work.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in Java, experience in teams, and strong knowledge of cloud deployments, CI/CD, and automated testing, with exposure to AI tooling.

Qualifications

We have a great role available with a global business who want to bring in a couple of mid-level Java developers to work on a huge government programme. The scale of applications are huge, you’ll be working across a host of new features being developed in a cloud & microservices setting.

Its predominantly a backend role with work across Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, AWS and maybe a touch of Angular work as well. The role is well suited to a mid-level developer wanting to put a real stamp on the experience through contributing to the build of a huge enterprise system.
