Job summary

European & USA Tech Recruit is seeking an IT/OT Engineer for pharmaceutical manufacturing in Ireland. The role focuses on supporting critical manufacturing infrastructure within GMP-regulated environments and bridging industrial automation with enterprise IT.

Ideal candidates will have experience with VMware/Hyper-V, Windows Server, AD/Group Policy, industrial networking, OT cybersecurity and systems like AVEVA PI and OSIsoft PI Historian, along with SCADA/MES/DCS support.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting GMP-regulated manufacturing environments is required.
• Experience bridging industrial automation, manufacturing systems and enterprise IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Support IT/OT engineering within pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
• Maintain and improve virtualised manufacturing environments and OT infrastructure.
• Assist in lifecycle management, upgrades and remediation of manufacturing systems.

IT/OT Engineer – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | Ireland

Are you an experienced IT/OT Engineer with a background in supporting critical manufacturing infrastructure within GMP-regulated environments?

European & USA Tech Recruit is looking to expand its network of Manufacturing IT, OT Infrastructure and Industrial Systems Engineers across Ireland's life sciences sector.

We're particularly interested in engineers with experience bridging the gap between industrial automation, manufacturing systems and enterprise IT infrastructure.

Technical experience of interest:

• VMware, Hyper-V and virtualised manufacturing environments
• Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy
• Industrial networking, switches, VLANs and firewalls
• Manufacturing system patching, backups and disaster recovery
• OT cybersecurity, network segmentation and system hardening
• AVEVA / OSIsoft PI Historian
• SCADA, MES and DCS infrastructure support
• System lifecycle management, upgrades and refresh projects
• GMP, GAMP 5 and validated computerised systems

Experience with industrial cybersecurity platforms such as Claroty, Nozomi or similar would be advantageous.

Locations:

Dublin, Cork, Limerick and other pharmaceutical manufacturing hubs across Ireland.
