The SAP Basis Team is the technical team responsible for the build, management, operation and support of ESB's SAP landscape
A career path in the SAP Basis/Hub in ESB would include
Performing ongoing maintenance, including upgrades, support packs and enhancement packs to keep systems aligned with SAP standards
Monitoring system performance and providing technical alerting and health monitoring across SAP environments.
Managing technical changes across SAP landscapes and supporting the stability of production systems
A career path in the SAP Functional stream in ESB focuses on designing, building and supporting our SAP system solutions for our complex, multifaceted businesses.
The SAP footprint in ESB covers HR, Finance, Work Management and Utility Billing. Our SAP Functional roles operate as the gateway between understanding business requirements and their implementation on our IT systems. A combination of business and configuration skills is required in this customer- facing role which comprises of strategic project and support work.

This position will be based inESB Head Office, F27, 2 Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin 4.
Smart Working at ESB is designed to make ‘in-person’ time together as purposeful as possible while also enabling the effective use of digital tools and hybrid arrangements to preserve our commitment to flexibility. The successful candidate may work flexibly within the jurisdiction where they have been employed, with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration at least two days per week. All Smart Working arrangements are subject to regular review based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the business.
You should have (or be working towards) a minimum 2.1 Honours Degree in IT, Computer Sciences, Business Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Finance or an equivalent course where IT was a component.
Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical skills, combined with the ability to learn quickly.
