Job summary

Irish Country Meats in Navan is offering an IT Graduate opportunity within ABP Foods Group. You will receive in-house training and work closely with the onsite team to gain hands-on experience across computer systems and networks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks within the organisation.
• Install and configure computer systems.
• Diagnose hardware and software faults; troubleshoot issues.
• Provide technical support to staff across factory and office.
• Educate staff about new software/applications.
• Respond to support calls within agreed timeframes.
• Create new user accounts, reset passwords and manage access.
• Replace faulty parts and perform routine repairs.
• Maintain documentation and reports on support activities.

We are looking for an IT Graduate to join our growing team in ICM Navan. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate. You will receive in house training working closely with onsite team.

The Graduate Skills Required Are

• A BS degree in Computer Science or IT related equivalent
• Must be proficient in computer applications and windows software packages
• Ability to solve problems in a timely manner

• Willing to travel to different sites for training purposes

Responsibilities would include

• Monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks in the organisation
• Install and configure computer systems
• Diagnose hardware and software faults
• Solve technical and application problems / trouble shooting
• Providing technical support to all staff, factory staff and office staff
• Talking to staff and teaching staff about new software/ applications
• Able to respond to calls within an agreed time limit
• Setting up new users accounts, emails and dealing with password issues
• Replacing parts when needed
• Providing support including procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Proactively maintain knowledge of product/software updates
• Be able to perform basic hardware, printer and workstation repairs
