Job summary

SleepScore Inc in Dublin seeks an Information Security Officer (part-time, 20 hours/week) to lead day-to-day ISMS operations, reporting to the Director of Engineering. The role is hybrid with occasional travel to the Dublin office, caring for asset and endpoint management, access control, vulnerability handling, continuity plans, incident response, and training.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in information security with ISMS responsibility, ISO 27001 experience, and GDPR knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in information security with direct ISMS responsibility.
• ISO 27001 audits and governance experience.
• GDPR/data protection practices knowledge.
• CISM or CISSP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Audit readiness: manage internal audits and external surveillance.
• ISMS governance: maintain operating rhythm and management review inputs.
• Risk register: keep current and defensible with treatment plans.
• Vendor security: assessments and supplier backlog management.
• Vulnerability follow-through: remediation tracking against SLAs.
• Access and asset reviews across sites.
• Policies and procedures: keep updated and gaps drafted.
• Privacy and data protection: retention and deletion verification.
• Continuity and incident response: tabletop exercises and improvements.
• Training and awareness: manage program end-to-end.
• The improvement programme: run improvements in a live pipeline.
