Job description

Orange Malone is working exclusively with a reinsurance client that is looking for an experienced Investment Risk specialist to join its life reinsurance function. Reporting to the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, based in Bermuda, you will work across Finance, Actuarial and Investment teams to strengthen risk oversight and contribute to balance sheet management.

Key responsibilities include leading stress and scenario testing, supporting economic capital assessments, and providing second-line oversight of ALM, liquidity, and investment risk. You will also contribute to the CISSA process, policy frameworks, and Board reporting.

The ideal candidate will hold an actuarial qualification (or CFA equivalent) with at least 5 years’ life (re)insurance or consulting experience. You will also have knowledge of investments, derivatives, and ALM alongside excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex risk insights into practical business solutions.

The role is based in Dublin with 2/3 days a week expected in the office.

You will need to have a European work permit.
