PGIM Ireland, part of Prudential’s global asset management arm, is seeking an Investment Operations Analyst for the Letterkenny office on a hybrid basis. You will validate portfolio activity, prepare ledger entries, and reconcile with banks and systems, delivering reports to partners.

The role requires a numerical background in accounting/finance, a bachelor's degree in related fields, and strong organizational and analytical abilities.

What you will do

We are looking for an Investment Operations Analyst to join our PGIM Operations - Alternative Assets team which is part of PGIM Operations and Innovation’s group (O&I). As an Investment Operations Analyst, you will join us based in ourstate of the artLetterkenny office on a hybrid basis.

You will be responsible for validating of portfolio and transaction level activity including trades, income payments, corporate actions, and deal restructurings in subledger systems; Preparing and verifying general ledger entries; Completing reconciliations to custody banks, trade systems and financial statements; In addition to providing various reports to business partners.

Our team is responsible for providing recordkeeping, accounting, and reporting for the investment portfolios supporting the Insurance Companies. Additionally, we support all investment data for the Chief Investment Officer and the Chief Risk officer for Prudential.

What you can expect

• Performing cash and balance reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Reviewing and analysing capital account statements and financial reports from Limited Partnerships.
• Processing cash transactions and monitoring related activity.
• Recording equity pick-up (income and losses).
• Ensuring cash activity is accurately reflected in the general ledger and reconciles to banking activity.
• Collecting, reviewing, and maintaining supporting documentation.
• Monitoring data integrity and identifying discrepancies for resolution.
• Supporting process improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects across the team.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

What you will bring

• Previous experience in an accounting, finance, operations, ,or similar numerical role.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferreddegree in accounting/finance or business)
• Strong organization skills
• Strong analytical, critical thinking skills and solutions oriented.
• Working knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Word
• Ability to understand andanalyzebasic accounting principles and financial statements.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a deadline and fast paced environment.

What will set you apart

• Experience performing cash, bank, account, or other reconciliations.
• Exposure to reviewing financial statements.
• Experience within financial services, investment operations, asset management, or a related industry.
• Strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis.
