Job summary

Mason Alexander is partnering with a leading global investment firm to hire an Investment Associate / Senior Associate for the Asset-Based Finance (ABF) team in Dublin. The role focuses on analysing ABF portfolios, constructing financial models, and delivering insights for Investment Committees.

The role requires 4–7 years of relevant experience, a strong academic record, and a solid grasp of financial statements and modelling. ACA or CFA is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years relevant experience (i.e. investment banking, infrastructure, real estate, aircraft leasing, bnpl, credit card debt, RMBS, structured finance, mBS, auto loans, corporate finance, private equity, transaction services or restructuring)
• Excellent academic background
• ACA or CFA qualified not essential but preferred
• Strong commercial awareness and a deep understanding of financial statements / financial modelling

Responsibilities

• Monitoring Asset Based Finance trading performance through detailed financial statements analysis and dialogue with the company
• Asset Based Finance, Asset-Backed Securitisation, Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), Asset-Based Lending
• Investment analysis
• Financial modelling and sensitivity analysis
• Preparation of quarterly reviews and presentation to Investment Committees
