A leading international life assurance provider is seeking a Securities Analyst for a 12-month maternity cover contract. Qualifications

Job description

We're working with a leading international life assurance provider, known for their tailored investment solutions and strong focus on client service. Right now, they're looking for a Securities Analyst to join their Investment Management team for a 12-month maternity cover contract.

This role is ideal for someone with around 2+ years' experience in financial services or investments, who's comfortable navigating the world of non-standard assets, due diligence, and regulatory reporting. If you've worked with structured products, Private Equity, or alternative funds - even better.

What you'll be doing:

  • Reviewing and onboarding new investments - including Private Equity, Limited Partnerships, Property Funds, etc.
  • Carrying out due diligence on custodians and asset managers
  • Reviewing contracts, term sheets, and regulatory docs
  • Supporting with transaction monitoring and EMIR reporting
  • Preparing reports and presentations for senior stakeholders
  • Collaborating with distribution partners across Europe

What you'll need:

  • Fluency in English
  • A degree in Finance, Economics or similar
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments and risk
  • Experience with fund documentation, compliance and reporting
  • Confident using Excel and handling detailed analysis
  • A collaborative approach with great attention to detail
