Job summary

Brown Thomas Arnotts is seeking a Stockroom Assistant to support efficient receipt, organisation, and movement of stock. You will log deliveries, prepare merchandise with correct pricing, and maintain an organised stockroom to ensure easy access for the shop floor.

Ideal candidates will have experience in retail stockrooms or logistics, excellent attention to detail, and strong organisational skills. This role offers a competitive salary, pension, and a flexible working model within our in-store

Qualifications

• Experience in retail stockroom, warehouse or logistics operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high operational standards.
• Excellent organisation and time management with ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Team player with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using digital tools and stock management systems (handheld scanners, LEAN app) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and process deliveries; log stock and report discrepancies.
• Keep stockroom organised, safe, and tidy; optimise space.
• Prepare merchandise for shop floor with correct ticketing and pricing.
• Ensure use of digital tools to manage transfers, stock counts, and reporting.
• Support stocktaking and data integrity; assist in count verification.
• Follow procedures for deliveries, returns and special orders.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and security protocols.
• Deliver excellent internal customer service with a professional, helpful attitude.
• Assist with administrative tasks and internal communication.
• Support promotional activity by prioritising workload and remaining flexible.
• Demonstrate resilience managing competing demands and high stock volumes.
• Uphold professionalism, teamwork, and integrity in stockroom operations.
