Job summary

Life Style Sports in Dublin is hiring an Inventory Planning Administrator to create and manage product profiles, support inbound stock allocations and reporting accuracy.

You will work with Supply Chain, Buying and Merchandising teams to maintain stock levels, maximise availability and drive efficient stock movements.

This is a great entry into Supply Chain with structured training and onboarding in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

  • Confident with data and numbers; good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive owner of work and collaborative communicator across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own the pre-allocation setup of new products to maximise sales and margin.
  • Pre-allocate inbound stock ahead of arrival to support warehouse processing and timely distribution.
  • Manage and issue stock movements to stores to optimise availability and sell-through.
  • Monitor product performance and adapt inventory profiles based on demand.
  • Track allocation activity, identify issues and support efficient order fulfilment.
  • Produce recall progress reports and coordinate with stores on timelines.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Inventory Planning Administrator to create and assign profiles for all new products due into the business.

This role is responsible for supporting new inbound stock allocations, monitoring profiles for existing products, issuing stock movements to stores, and ensuring accurate reporting.

As Inventory Planning Administrator, you report to the Supply Chain Manager. You will also work closely with the Buying, Merchandise & Store teams to maintain optimal stock levels and distribution, ensuring efficiency and accuracy across the supply chain.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Own the pre-allocation set-up of new products, ensuring each product is ranged and allocated to the right stores in the right quantities to maximise sales and margin.
  • Ensure all inbound stock is accurately pre-allocated ahead of arrival, supporting efficient warehouse processing and timely distribution to stores.
  • Manage and issue stock movements to stores, ensuring inventory is positioned in the right location to maximise availability and sell-through.
  • Monitor product performance and sales trends, making appropriate updates to inventory profiles to reflect changes in demand.
  • Monitor pick pools and allocation activity, identifying issues and taking action to support efficient order fulfilment.
  • Produce and analyse recall progress reports, working with stores to monitor compliance and ensure stock is returned within required timelines.
  • Maintain stock holding groups to ensure inventory is accurately categorised and supports effective allocation and replenishment.
  • Work closely with the Merchandise team to establish and maintain appropriate size break ratios, ensuring stock is distributed in line with customer demand.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory planning processes, systems and ways of working, helping to drive greater efficiency and accuracy across the supply chain.
  • Build strong working relationships with Supply Chain, Buying and Merchandising, Warehouse and Store teams to ensure effective communication and execution of inventory decisions.
  • Assign and manage inbound stock flags, including Fast Track and Carton Quantity, to prioritise stock processing and improve operational efficiency.

About you:

  • Highly organised, analytical and excellent attention to detail required.
  • Curious, adaptable and eager to learn, with the ambition to grow your career within the wider Supply Chain, Buying, or Merchandising function.
  • Confident and experienced working with data and numbers and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Comfortable working with systems and enjoy understanding how processes work and finding ways to improve them.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and remain organised in a fast-paced environment.
  • Take ownership of your work, be proactive in identifying issues and be confident following problems through to resolution.
  • Communications skills and ability to work collaboratively with different teams across the business.
  • Demonstrate a commercial mindset and understand the importance of having the right product, in the right place, at the right time.
  • Previous experience in retail, administration, inventory, supply chain, or merchandising is beneficial, and desirable.
