Job summary

Apple Cork, Ireland, is seeking a Global Tax Program Manager to lead the long-term strategy and execution of global tax, withholding and statutory benefits. You will partner with the Apple Finance organization to ensure compliant, efficient processes across regions and entities.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years experience in Accounting or Finance working across multiple services.
• Extensive expertise with Tax, SAP and ADP.
• Skilled in process mapping, and analysis of as-is and to-be processes.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Auditing and reconciling global tax data, calculations, fillings and payments.
• Research Global laws and regulations regarding taxes, withholding and statutory benefits.
• Ensure compliance with Global, Federal, State, and Local tax rules for the US and EMEA.
• Independently liaise with tax and government authorities to support tax, fringe benefit and social insurance compliance and audit matters.
• Coordinate with global finance teams and ADP to ensure timely and accurate submission of tax calculations, filings and deposits.
• Process government rebates/ reimbursements.
• Investigate, analyze and respond to tax inquiries, audits and payments from internal and external bodies.
• Coordinate with consultants on international assignees shadow payrolls and tax reporting.
• Audit end to end expat processing and global reporting to Deloitte.
• Ensure tax compliance for employees holding Visas.
• Ensure SOX and internal controls compliance across tax processes.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to analyze root causes of transaction exceptions and provide solutions.
• Develop structured approach to maintain up-to-date process documentation.
