Job summary

Resmed invites applications for a six-month internship in Product Development, Devices Software, based onsite at the Sandyford, Dublin office. You will work with software engineers, biomedical algorithm engineers, technologists and data scientists to contribute to connected healthcare product development.

You will gain hands-on exposure to development of healthcare devices, own your work, and translate requirements into software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Programming proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

What You’ll Do

• Work within one of Resmed's software engineering teams focused on device development.
• Contribute to software development activities across multiple platforms and technology stacks.
• Support the design and development of new products, enhancements, and product improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers, developers, and cross‑functional stakeholders to understand customer and business needs.
• Participate in product development projects that bring healthcare technologies to market.
• Take ownership of assigned work activities and deliverables.
• Communicate project outcomes clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
• Help translate technical requirements into effective software solutions.

What You Bring

• Currently studying toward a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Programming capability in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex information in a simple and compelling way.
• Interest in software development across different technologies and platforms.
• Ability to understand technical challenges and contribute to problem‑solving.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to learn in a team environment.
• Nice to Have Interest in healthcare technology or connected devices.
