Intern - Associate Technical Specialist.

The Intern - Associate Technical Specialist. will be part of a team responsible for the delivery of transformational projects in order to support & improve current Laboratory Operations. They will be responsible for contributing to a high-performance culture within the IPT by engaging in an environment of flexibility, collaboration, engagement and teamwork. The Intern - Associate Technical Specialist. will be expected to demonstrate a high level of innovation, enthusiasm for the delivery of improvement projects within the Lab Ops area as well as day-to-day base business support.

Position Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects for the introduction & qualification of new equipment for the commissioning and qualification of laboratory equipment
• Aid in troubleshooting technical issues and take part in investigations through scientific problem-solving approaches.
• Partner with cross functional groups to support change management to implement process improvements
• Ensure compliance with site EHS policy, cGMP and other business regulations and participate in risk assessments, audits, regulatory inspections and incident investigations.
• Ensure the highest Quality, Compliance and Safety standards by participating and complying with our Manufacturing Division Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, including ownership, as relevant.

Knowledge And Skills Requirements

General

Enrolled in a third level qualification in a Science or Engineering related subject.

Technical

Interest in at least three of the following: process engineering, process & equipment validation, statistics, technology transfer, instrumentation, project management & execution, chemistry, microbiology, regulatory inspections.

People

Excellent communication, decision making, people influencing and project management skills.
