Winthrop Technologies Ltd. in Ireland is offering an EHS Intern position to support our Environmental, Health & Safety team on active data centre projects.

You will gain hands-on experience delivering safety operations, documenting logs, participating in audits and incident investigations, and assisting with toolbox talks and emergency drills. This internship provides mentorship and learning opportunities with potential graduate pathways.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a qualification in EHS, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field.
• Strong interest in environmental, health, and safety practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the EHS team with daily site safety operations and safety walkdowns.
• Support in preparing and maintaining EHS documentation, reports, and logs.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Help ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and statutory regulations.
• Assist in delivering toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness sessions.
• Monitor PPE compliance and support safety observations/near‑miss reporting.
• Contribute to environmental monitoring activities, including waste, energy, and resource tracking.
• Support the coordination of emergency preparedness drills and training.
• Provide administrative support to the EHS team as needed.

We are seeking a motivated EHS Intern to support our Environmental, Health & Safety team in maintaining a safe, compliant, and proactive safety culture on our projects. This internship offers hands‑on exposure to EHS practices within a fast‑paced construction and engineering environment, providing valuable experience for students pursuing a career in safety management or environmental disciplines.
