Job summary

A leading contractor in Ireland is seeking an intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Dublin. This role involves supporting senior QS, managing cashflow, and preparing final accounts for various projects. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Quantity Surveying, with at least 3 years of post-college experience, ideally with a main or sub-contractor. Join a dynamic team working on commercial, healthcare, and education projects.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years post college experience.
  • Previous experience with a main or sub-contractor.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with and support the Senior QS.
  • Attend meetings with subcontractors, clients, and design team members.
  • Preparation and monitoring of cashflow.
  • Assist in the preparation of final accounts at project completion stage.
  • Cost monitoring and reporting using construction computer software.
  • Assess tender enquiries and review tender project analysis.
  • Purchasing and monitoring of subcontractor and specialist supplier packages.
  • Management of subcontractor re-measurement, interim and final account payments.
  • Processing monthly/fortnightly subcontractor and supplier payment certificates.
  • Compiling variations and the variation log.
  • Pre-contract cost control and document preparation.

Our client is involved in a range of projects including commercial, healthcare, Education, hotels and more.

Requirements:
