Job summary

Munters is hiring for an on-site project engineer who will conduct installation walk-downs, ensure compliance with codes and safety policies, and coordinate engineers and subcontractors to meet project milestones.

The role involves international travel, adherence to installation manuals, and collaboration with QA/QC and technical teams to deliver all milestones on time.

Qualifications

• Fluent English language required.
• Experience with site commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

• Conduct walk-downs/reviews of installations for client handover.
• Follow codes, local project regulations, and latest equipment concepts.
• Maintain safety during commissioning and adhere to health and safety policy.
• Coordinate other engineers and subcontractors with the project manager.
• Travel and work internationally as required.
• Carry out planned maintenance, reactive service and repair works.
• Prepare punch lists and determine corrective measures for on-site problems.
• Follow installation manuals from the factory.
• Collaborate with QA/QC and technical teams to meet milestones.
• Ensure site issues are closed out professionally and timely.

• Conduct walk-downs / reviews of installations as part of a handover demonstration for clients.
• Be familiar and comply with codes, local project regulations, construction practices and the latest equipment functional concepts.
• Adhere to all the project / client safety requirements including specific on-site regulations as well as company health and safety policy.
• Be responsible for health and safety during the commissioning process,
• Assist the project manager in coordinating other engineers and sub-contractors.
• Availability to travel and work internationally as required.
• Carry out planned maintenance, reactive service and repair works as required.
• Carry out snagging and repair works as required on units.
• Prepare and action punch lists and determine corrective measures for on-site problems.
• Carry out modifications and upgrade works on units as required.
• Follow closely installation manuals from the factory.
• You will also be expected to carry out any additional duties that may be assigned to you by your manager from time to time.
• Maintain customer records and databases such as but not limited to BIM360 and Procore.
• take instruction from site lead/project manager.
• Work with QAQC and technical teams to plan and execute nsuring that all project requirements and milestones are delivered.
• Ensure systems are installed in accordance with the approved Project designs / specifications.
• Ensure all site and client issues are dealt with and closed out in a professional and timely manner.
• Communicate difficult / sensitive information tactfully.
• Resolve / escalation issues in a timely fashion.
