Job summary

Carraig Donn is seeking an Interim Graphic Designer to join the Marketing Department in Westport. The role supports the Head of Marketing and delivers on campaigns for online and offline channels across 40 stores and www.carraigdonn.com.

The position is a fixed-term, 8-month maternity cover, 40 hours per week, based 4 days at Head Office in Westport and 1 day work-from-home. A Bachelor's in Design, a strong portfolio, and expert use of Adobe Creative Suite are essential.

The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing Department as a Interim Graphic Designer. We are looking for a skilled Graphic Designer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The role holder will report to the Head of Marketing and eCommerce and work with the wider marketing team in assisting with marketing campaigns across 40 stores and www.carraigdonn.com .

Core Responsibilities:

• Working in conjunction with the Snr Graphic Designer you will provide graphic design services for Carraig Donn’s online and offline marketing channels
• This will involve producing engaging visual assets (in both static and motion formats) for web banners, ezines, social media, POS, flyers and more
• Manage and schedule weekly content on TV screens & Window Digital Screens
• Assist in the creation of content to support Carraig Donn’s digital strategy.
• Work closely with the team to create engaging graphics for a variety of projects.
• Ability to follow direction, meet company brand guidelines and assist with any other graphics requirements that may arise due to the nature of a fast-paced environment.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design or related field required
• Must have a portfolio demonstrating print and digital body of work
• Excel in the use of Adobe Creative Suite: In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Strong digital file management skills to effectively work with digital assets and templates
• Strong project management skills, with the ability and communication skills to co-ordinate a large number of small projects at the same time.
• Problem solving capability, solution provider and strong attention to detail
• The role holder will need to understand the need for high quality brand representation
• Passion for retail and a strong interest in fashion, jewellery and homeware is a plus.

Role will be a 8 month maternity cover contract with 40-hours per week. The role is based 4 days in Carraig Donn’s Head Office in Westport and 1 day WFH.
