Job summary

Pfizer in Ringaskiddy seeks a Process Development Analyst on an 11-month contract to develop and implement analytics for new API processes across manufacturing sites and provide technical leadership for supply assurance projects.

Qualifications

• PhD in analytical chemistry or MSc/BSc with strong analytical focus.
• Experience in pharmaceutical analytical development preferred.
• Project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement analytics for new API processes and technology.
• Provide technical support and leadership for supply assurance projects.
• Apply highly specialised analytical skills to support process development, pilot plant demonstrations and full-scale qualification batches.
• Develop, evaluate & verify analytical methods across a range of techniques as required to support projects.
• Provide analytical testing across a range of techniques to support chemical process development and validation.
• Contribute innovative analytical ideas to support global process development projects.
• Demonstrate problem solving delivering process and analytical understanding.
• Provide analytical support in technical transfer of analytical methods to manufacturing sites.
• Coordinate and/or contribute to analytical validation and method transfer activities.
• Lead troubleshooting and investigation of analytical issues with existing processes to support project teams.
• Investigate new technologies and analytical approaches.
• Complete reports and lab notebooks to a high standard and deadlines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the analytical team program.
• Ensure ongoing safe and efficient operation of facilities.
