Overview

As the Infrastructure Project Manager in our Application Data and Infrastructure Services (ADIS) technology team in Dublin, you will draw upon your experience and proven track record in project managing in a very technical environment. Reporting to the PMO and working directly with infrastructure, support, and software engineers, technology managers, traders, and business domain experts in a fast-paced environment, you will help drive large infrastructure and technology projects that impact our core trading businesses.

You will be responsible for managing projects related to large infrastructure deployment, integration, and software migration within the Dublin office and our Data Centers across Europe. This includes creating project plans, coordinating teams, identifying issues, providing updates, and ensuring project completion. You will develop business requirements and evaluate methodologies to ensure successful deployment aligned with business needs. Projects will involve software migration, data and configuration management, and infrastructure deployment in a distributed environment.

Additionally, you will ensure solutions are documented and supported in our production environment and meet deadlines for Exchange Driven Changes (EDCs). If you are looking to maximize your technical and project management skills, we encourage you to apply.

Essential Functions

  • Plan, organize, and facilitate development and implementation of infrastructure, integration, DR testing, and software migration projects.
  • Assist teams in planning large deployments, addressing business needs and potential issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Communicate project status and requirements regularly to all levels of staff and management.
  • Facilitate meetings to determine trading desk requirements and create detailed project plans.
  • Coordinate teams to execute projects, ensuring objectives are met.
  • Manage relationships with third parties and stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Document and track open issues for stakeholders and teams.
  • Coach and mentor other project managers.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Create and maintain project documentation and provide progress updates.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years managing infrastructure and software migration projects, including Data Centre Relocation and Colocation support.
  • Third level qualifications in Computer Science or related fields preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of data center operations, production operations, server, storage, networks, databases, help desk, DR/business continuity.
  • Strong leadership, planning, estimation, and risk management skills.
  • Technical background in software development, data centers, storage, and server migration.
  • Occasional travel to Data Centres in Europe.
  • Strong negotiation skills and risk assessment abilities.
  • Experience managing resources in a matrix environment.
  • Ability to evaluate project requirements and select appropriate strategies and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and Microsoft Project.

Nice to have Skills

  • Knowledge of JIRA, SQL, and Business Intelligence tools like QlikView.
  • Experience with vendor evaluation, procurement, and implementation.
  • PMI or PRINCE II certification.
  • Experience with Asset Management systems.
