Job summary

State Street is seeking an Office 365 Security and Compliance SME to lead the design, solutioning and resiliency of key Collaboration Services tools. You will work with tower leads, architects and security teams to shape the future state, document interdependencies and own technical design across platforms.

The role involves developing cloud-ready solutions, driving compliance, and supporting major incidents with effective governance.

Qualifications

• Detailed understanding of Office 365 products.
• Experience with Purview & Smarsh.
• Experience with Enterprise Vault, Cisco IronPort & Microsoft Defender.
• Deep skill set related to Exchange.
• PowerShell / Power Automate & Python and / or similar scripting tools.
• Energetic self-starter who is a detailed and organized critical thinker and problem solver.
• Respected leader with the ability to influence and represent perspectives of others.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Deep understanding of data retention policies.
• Technical knowledge regarding conditional access.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions that meet business and technical requirements for Office 365 platforms.
• Work directly with engineering, operations and change management teams to implement designs.
• Modernize the security and compliance posture within the Microsoft O365 suite.
• Drive product solutions to the cloud.
• Work with Security & Compliance teams to ensure products and applications meet requirements.
• Work with cyber security teams to mitigate risky activity within the environment.
• Own solution and engineering documentation.
• Prepare for, and take part in, internal audit activities.
• Conduct bi-annual reviews of internal documentation & processes; create remediation plans.
• Implement automations for repeatable tasks.
• Liaise with the Collaboration Services Center of Excellence to build repeatable / scalable solutions.
• Define long term solution & environment roadmaps with management and strategy teams.
• Provide L5 support in major incidents.
• Develop streamlined ServiceNow & SailPoint workflows.
• Rationalize tech debt and propose improvements.

Working with the tower lead & architects, this person will be primarily responsible for leading the Security & Compliance program related to these tools; The future state, design, documentation and interdependencies of solutions within these platforms is the core focus.

What You Will Be Responsible For

As the Office 365 Security and Compliance subject matter expert you will

• Develop solutions that meet business and technical requirements for associated platforms.
• Work directly with engineering, operations and change management teams to implement solutions designs.

• Work with Security & Compliance teams to ensure products and associated applications meet requirements
