This role is for a Threat Intelligence Specialist on the Protect Threat Intelligence (PTI) team. The successful candidate will support PTI's mission of delivering timely, actionable, and relevant intelligence to stakeholders across TD through a follow-the-sun operating model. The candidate will maintain a holistic view of the threat landscape, including current and emerging cyber and fraud threats, and apply strong intelligence collection, analysis, and production expertise to drive informed decision-making. As the Threat Intelligence Specialist, the successful candidate will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, proactively drive intelligence priorities, and take decisive action to support business and security stakeholders. The role requires leadership and collaboration skills to coordinate intelligence activities across regions and functions, ensuring continuity of operations and effective intelligence sharing across global teams. During Dublin's coverage, the individual will serve as the primary senior intelligence lead, providing direction and operational oversight to the Dublin team while coordinating intelligence activities, managing escalations, and driving timely intelligence outcomes for stakeholders. Threat Intelligence operates an on-call rotation across the team (inclusive of this position). The ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated professional with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment, while fostering strong partnerships across global regions, functional teams, and stakeholders to drive intelligence outcomes and operational success.
Enable cyber and fraud threat identification by proactively and continuously monitoring the internal and external landscape for relevant events, risks and threats. Lead the intel threat analysis to assess emerging Cybersecurity, Fraud, supply-chain and other threats. Use OSINT research and tooling to investigate top priority threats; applying deep knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat actor tradecraft. Partner with Threat Management teams to understand events and support technical threat analysis of malicious cyber security incidents. Identify and assess threats to supply chain by partnering effectively with Vendor Management in managing risk to TD, support response activities for supply chain incidents and pro-actively identifying emerging threats to supply chain. Effectively author and review intelligence products and communications for stakeholders, operational personnel, and leadership. Support cyber fraud intelligence capabilities by identifying and mitigating methods for account compromise and fraud. Provide expertise and consultation to partners and/or stakeholders on a broad range of threats and emerging threats relevant to TD, its supply chain and the financial sector. Proactively review internal processes and activities and identify opportunities for improvement. Drive EMEA intelligence community engagement through active participation in the FS-ISAC ETIC and enhance TD's Dublin presence by building a robust intelligence network within the region. On-call availability is required from 19:00 to 07:00 ET on assigned coverage days, including weekends and designated weekdays.
