Job Description

Aureol Global Connections is hiring for Industrial Mechanics on behalf of Hibernia Steel Products Limited trading as Hibernia Steel of Grangegeeth, Hill of Slane, Co. Meath, C15 H21C. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial mechanical maintenance or a similar environment. You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of industrial machinery, production equipment and vehicle fleets, including forklifts, side loaders, shunter trucks, rigid trucks and trailers. Duties will include preventative maintenance, fault finding, breakdown repairs, mechanical fitting and inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. The role also involves supporting automated processing lines and steel manufacturing equipment, maintaining service records, responding to equipment breakdowns, and working closely with production teams to minimise downtime. Diagnostic skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent written and spoken English communication skills are essential. This is a full-time role of 39.5 hours per week with an annual salary range of €37,074.70-€40,000.
