Job summary

GEA Group in Naas, Ireland, is seeking a Technical Product Owner - Industrial IoT to lead cloud-based digital applications delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and effective communication between development teams, the Product Manager, and key stakeholders.

The role acts as the solution lead for delivery, translating business requirements into epics and tasks, creating UX mockups, and maintaining architecture and design documents to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product management and technical lead roles.
• Hands-on development with Azure App Services, DevOps, Databricks, InfluxDB and Angular.
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Master's Degree in Engineering.
• Agile certifications (Scrum Master, Product Owner, etc.).
• Nice-to-have: PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent PM certifications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Manager to align with the product roadmap.
• Translate requirements into epics, features, and tasks.
• Create mocks and work with UX on design.
• Define acceptance criteria and review deliverables.
• Maintain solution architecture and technical design documents.
• Develop and review Angular components and dashboards, REST APIs, Azure services, Databricks notebooks, and InfluxDB data models.
• Prioritize backlog based on value and dependencies.
• Coordinate software updates, patches, releases, and upgrades.
• Ensure developments align with Secure Product Development and D2S processes.
• Maintain project documentation and release notes.
• Manage risks and escalate issues as needed.
• Deliver monthly performance reports on status and KPI attainment.
