Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial insulation and/or sheet metal fabrication and cladding.
• Ability to measure, develop, cut and fabricate sheet metal patterns.
• Competent using hand tools and sheet metal machinery.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Plan and organise work effectively.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

• Measuring, cutting, shaping and fitting industrial insulation materials.
• Installing insulation on pipework, vessels, tanks, ducting and equipment.
• Fabricating and installing protective metal cladding and jacketing.
• Reading drawings and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
• Using sheet metal fabrication machinery and hand tools to manufacture cladding components.
• Fitting protective coverings and finishes to insulated surfaces.
• Maintaining safety and quality standards on site.
