Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in your subject area or a related subject.
• Professional teaching qualification.
• Teacher Council Registration.
• Previous teaching experience in a secondary school.
• Familiarity with Leaving Certificate curriculum.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• All teachers will be Garda vetted upon appointment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality classes meeting learners' needs.
• Ensure teaching meets best practice in classroom management and learner focus.
• Follow Leaving Certificate syllabus, supplement with sourced or developed material.
• Help prepare students for end-of-year Leaving Certificate exams.
• Record student progress and communicate with parents at meetings.
• Engage in CPD and the in-house Teacher Development Programme.
