Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant/Carer for Balbriggan to support clients at home. You will provide personal care, meal assistance, and medication prompts while maintaining dignity and privacy.

Travel between client visits in your local area is required, with 24/7 on-call support from local management. We offer full-time or part-time roles, free QQI Level 5 training, and opportunities for career progression within Comfort Keepers.

Qualifications

• EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Ireland is required.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support is desirable, if not held we will support completion.

Responsibilities

• Delivering personal care including support with mobility, dressing, and continence care with dignity and respect.
• Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Providing medication prompts and maintaining accurate records.
• Travel between client visits within your local area.
• Observe client wellbeing and escalate concerns to management.
