Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate carers in Ireland to help clients live independently at home with dignity. You will provide personal care, meal assistance, and medication prompts, traveling between local client visits using your own vehicle where required.

The role offers full-time or part-time hours, with structured induction and ongoing training. We value reliability and empathy, with clear career progression paths within the company and 24/7 support from local management.

Qualifications

• EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Ireland is required.
• Driving licence is not required for this role but is beneficial.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support is desirable; if you do not hold it, we will support you to complete it.
• Genuine motivation to support people in your community to live with independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Delivering personal care including support with mobility, dressing, and continence care with dignity and respect at all times.
• Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Providing medication prompts and maintaining accurate, timely records.
• Travel between client visits within your local area.
• Observing client wellbeing and escalating any concerns promptly to the local office management.
• Building a professional, trusted relationship with your client and their family.
• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and privacy at all times.
