Job summary

St. Michael’s House, a community-based organisation in the greater Dublin area, is recruiting Social Care Workers for individualised residential services.

The role is full-time and permanent, based in Ballymun and Swords, focusing on high-quality person-centred support for adults with intellectual disabilities. You will work with a skilled team to provide educational, vocational and recreational supports, build community participation, and ensure compliance with HIQA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Intellectual Disability work.
• Minimum 6 months in an individualised service.
• Experience leading lone-working initiatives and supporting residents.
• Experience with Autism and complex support needs.
• Commitment to high-quality individualised service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred residential supports in Ballymun and Swords.
• Develop educational, vocational and recreational supports.
• Enhance community participation and linked supports.
• Collaborate with families, clinicians and staff to meet needs.
