Job summary

Cpl Group is recruiting a Social Care Worker for a dedicated children’s residential service in Ireland. You will work with young children to create a safe, nurturing environment across County Tipperary, Offaly and Laois.

The role focuses on implementing individual care plans, promoting holistic development, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support the child’s ongoing growth and resilience. Training and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Level 7 or 8 qualification in Social Care, Youth Work, Early Childhood Education, or related field
• Commitment to supporting children under 12 in care
• Knowledge of HIQA standards, child protection and safeguarding practices
• Ability to work with children from diverse backgrounds and experiences

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, child-centred care within a residential setting
• Implement individual care plans to support emotional, social and educational development
• Promote a safe and supportive environment in line with HIQA standards and safeguarding legislation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure holistic care
• Support children in developing life skills, confidence and resilience
• Engage in reflective practice, training and continuous professional development
